IBASE Delivers Powerful AMD Geode™ NX Mini ITX Motherboard


TAIPEI, TAIWAN, October 31, 2005 - The MB740 Mini ITX motherboard from IBASE Technology is designed for high performance, low-power-consumption platforms, including POS, kiosk, gaming systems, multimedia and other embedded applications. The board is integrated with the SiSR 741CX chipset and comes with an AMD Geode™ NX processor running at 667MHz to 1.4GHz.

Combined with the AMD Geode™ NX 1250@6W (667MHz) and NX 1500@6W (1GHz), the MB740 delivers maximum performance for demanding embedded applications requiring silent operation and without active cooling that gives system designers broader versatility.

With dimensions of 170mm x 170mm, the MB740 incorporates advanced and popular features including 10/100 Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Serial ATA, CRT, USB 2.0, 1394, SPDIF and PCI expansion slot.
