Flexible Multi-Gigabit Network Security Appliance for SOHO Applications from IBASE Taipei, Taiwan, July 18, 2007 - IBASE Technology, a leading manufacturer of industrial PCs, communication appliances and DVRs, introduces its flexible entry-level network security appliance - FWA6204. The FWA6204 is a robust 1U rackmount communications appliance built with four Intel® Gigabit Ethernet controllers for fast connectivity. Ideal for SOHO networking applications, the FWA6204 has a platform architecture with 400MHz system bus that delivers a high-bandwidth connection between the processor and the platform. The FWA6204 is designed around the IntelR® 852GM chipset that has the Intel embedded lifecycle support. It features a low-power design, supports the Mobile IntelR CeleronR processor and Intel Celeron processor, and fits up to 2GB of DDR 200/266 system memory with its two DDR DIMM sockets on board.
